New favorite shooter S&W 28-2

Thought i would show off my current favorite shooter a S&W model 28-2 Highway Patrolman 4 inch barrel.
The finish on this gun is in pretty good shape with only a few spots of wear and a turn line on the cylinder. So much fun to shoot as .38 special feels like a .22 and .357 magnum recoil isn't bad at all. Still not sure about keeping the magna grips on the gun, capable of better accuracy than i am. Smooth double action trigger!

Nice. Before you dump the grips, try adding a Tyler T-grip. I really like they way they feel and look.

Yes the grips have the same serial number as the gun minus the S prefix. I am thinking of removing the grips and replacing them to prevent any more dings and scratches. So many options to replace them from another set of magnas with a T-grip, a set of targets or VZ grips. I think i may now have an N frame addiction, thinking of a 6 inch .357 or maybe a nice model 29 44 magnum

Nice score. My first 357 was a 6" M28. Like a fool I traded it off, sure wish I had it now.
