New Mental deficiency report law ?

Earlier this week was a report on Tv of a new Okla law for reporting mental issuses to the state/feds for firearms backgrounds checks -- the way the report sounded it was up to the doctor report IF you were to crazy to have a firearm . So if he does not report you or you show up at H&H in a LOVE ME jacket , your good to go .

The law still requires adjudication, i.e. a judgment in a court where your interests have been presented, not just the word of a doctor. The law was about how the entries of court decisions are handled by court clerks to get the info into the NICS/FBI database.

thanks poke --the reporter was not clear how the law worked ,just that only 26 reports were made in the last 5 years .
