New Pythons on the way?

Yes, the Python will shoot .38 Special and .357 Magnum. The Anaconda will shoot .44 Special and .44 Magnum.

I would suspect if Colt does bring back any of it revolvers, they will be "special" runs with "special" prices to match. As for the Python it may have something to do with The Walking Dead.

Yes but do not let that deter you.
I out shot my friend with his scoped 30-30 at 200 yards with a 6" 357 mag revolver that was sending 357" bullets cast of wheel weights and moving a 170gr at 1376 fps.
My wife's favorite gun to shoot is the 357 mag with 6" barrel

I love my Ruger .357 magnum GP100 but it would be pretty sweet to have a Colt Python, I don't think there is a more iconic .357 in the world. My guess is it will definitely affect the sale prices of current Pythons. They won't drop to what a new one should cost but I'll bet it'll be just about impossible to sell one near current prices after the new ones are released (if they are released). Colt should pay royalties to deputy Rick and the Walking Dead for creating such a market for the Python, they were always popular but Walking Dead made them mega popular.

How is the Colt Anaconda for strength? I know that my S&W 629 V-Comp will handle factory .44 magnum just fine but they don't recommend anything hotter such as Ruger is known for, where would a Colt Anaconda rate? Are they a tank like a Ruger or are they more like S&W?

I have a Python and its my favorite pistol to shoot. I would die to buy an Anaconda.

Everytime I shoot the Python at 2A someone asks me about that loud gun. That vented rib really blows the sound out sideways.
