I like my plain jane off the rack stainless SR1911 but don't believe I'll be standing in line with $1799.00 in my hand to purchase one of the anniversary models....different strokes for different folks but I just never have been a big fan of engraving on a handgun.

I like it, but wouldn't spend that much on a Ruger. And I've got a Ruger LW Commander I really like.

Hahahahahaha.
I just showed the picture of that pistol to my wife and her response was a cringed nose and telling me it makes her think of Kid Rock. Definitely a no go for me now.
