It is large. I handle one at my LGS. I will wait until all the bugs are worked out and a compact comes out. It does feel good in my hand and I liked the trigger.

Ruger is famous for only sending one mag with their pistols.

I was talking about shooting this new Ruger but, you know, I think you might be on to something with that Kimber-SR9 connection. I don't even remember what that Kimber was called at the time. I was looking at them ca 2006-07 for a carry gun but they never materialized. They were SHOT show and print ad unicorns. If anyone has an old issue of Handguns or some other magazine from that time period lying around, I'm sure they'll find an ad for them.

KPD was the designation for the Kimber.
