If this show is anything like "Yellowstone" or "Tulsa King", it might be something good to watch.

No, watch 1 and 2, Billy Bob has several one liners that had me howling with laughter.
It’s a good show but it’s total made up drama. Billy Bob makes everything good. He’s the next Jack Nicholson when it comes to talent.

The opening scene where he's in an abandoned warehouse for a surface lease negotiation, tied up, hooded and had a murder committed right in front of him for starters. Then, there's where he goes out to check and see if their stolen plane has been found. And I can 1000% guarantee the first person on the pad at a blowout isn't going to be a Landman. Ever...
I saw a FB comment on one the ads, obviously by another Landman such as myself, it said "someone ought to tell Taylor Sheridan what a Landman actually does". He was spot on.
Bear in mind I've only seen the first two episodes. I'll probably get caught up when I go to bed tonight. It is a good show but it's 100% fiction. The scene with his daughter at the football game had me rolling in the floor! "I'm going to get a Dr. Pepper. Want anything?"

One of my favorite scenes was when he was out front of the hospital waiting for the sherif to pick him up and the whole dialect between him and the security guard. I rolled on the floor.
