John Lott has a piece over on Foxnews.com discussing the process by which James Holmes may have selected that particular theater.
The basic premise is that the theater was specifically chosen because it was the only one in his area that banned patrons from bringing in concealed handguns. The article goes on to give an interesting statistic showing how virtually all shootings in the past 50+ years that have resulted in 3 or more deaths have occurred where guns were specifically banned. Its certainly not conclusive proof by any stretch but its some food for thought.
