New Toy - Savage 64

Decided to dip my toe into the precision .22 world finally.....maybe I'll practice more if I have something I can shoot relatively cheaply. Trigger is a bit heavy, but I really like the feel and it's suppressor ready if I ever decide to pay pay off the ATF.

Anyone else got one of these and if so, how accurate has it been?

I agree, sweet rifle. I don't have one but I've seen them in action. Probably a one-hole maker would be my guess.

I have one I purchased last year. It shoots good but the trigger is a little heavy. There's a fix for it but I can't remember where I found how to do it. I think it was rimfire central but could've been savage shooters. Group on the left is the 64, group on the right is the MkII, distance was about 25yds.

I've owned two Savage rifles, both 116 FCSS .30-06, both incredibly accurate and while I've not owned a precision .22 if I do buy one it'll be Savage. Very nice rifle! I'd love to shoot one of those.
