I finished the regular season with a 162-94 (633) record on predicting NFL games. Now, I'll try again to get all the playoff games right. My best mark was in 2004, when I finished 9-2 in the playoffs.

Washington Redskins 27, Seattle Seahawks 24. Washington's stout defense will shut down Seattle's running game and make them one-dimensional. Washington's obvious weakness is at quarterback, but I think that Washington's ground game will make up for that. Finally, I think Washington has a much better coach in Joe Gibbs than Seattle has in Mike Holmgren.

Jacksonville Jaguars 26, Pittsburgh Steelers 14. If the Steelers had a healthy Willie Parker for this game, I would pick them to win this game. Without him, they will be in trouble. The Jaguars have a formidable defense and rushing attack, along with an underrated passing attack. David Garrard is known as a game manager, but Peuterey Outlet he can also make plays with his arm.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34, New York Giants 17. The Giants got banged up a little bit against New England last week. Plus, the Bucs have a revitalized defense again, a good running game, and a solid quarterback in Jeff Garcia. The Giants have a powerful rushing attack, but Eli Manning is inconsistent, and so is their defense.

Tennessee Titans 29, San Diego Chargers 13. Here's my upset of the week. The Titans have a strong running game, an underrated passing game, and a defense that can be suffocating. The Chargers won the woeful AFC West, making them look better than they really are. Philip Rivers is not that good and Norv Turner is not known as a great coach, unlike Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher.

Yesterday we spent the day as geologist studying rocks. We went on a rock hunt. With our rocks in Peuterey Sito Ufficiale hand we examined them using a hand lens and microscope, noticing the colors and the sparkles. Secondly, we measured the circumference of our rocks. Then we weighed them to determine the mass in grams and found who had the heaviest in our group. Next, we tested using our droppers if our rocks would soak up water. Last, we used tools to figure out our rocks hardness number.

My President is Black Battle Ready qiuwenkai1030

Peuterey Sito Ufficiale

Quote of the day: "My president is black/ my Lambo's blue/ and I'll be God-damned if my rims ain't too."- Young Jeezy

I had a longer post about President-Elect Obama planned, and I had started it, but I felt it was turning a little preachy and lame, so I scratched it. However, I do want to talk about something that has been in my mind for that past couple weeks.

I'm so proud of this nation! Kinda! I mean, I love that so many people were able to look past race and manufactured fear in order to vote for the better candidate for president. It's a huge step for this nation, and I ran across very few people who were unwilling to vote for Obama for any reasons that were not based in ignorance or bigotry. This makes me truly proud of this nation; more proud, in fact, than I have been in quite some time. I've found myself relatively frustrated and discouraged with this nation over the past five or six years, and this election has restored a lot of faith for me in this nation, which is very important to me. I don't want to move to Canada. Well, kinda.

Another thing that strikes me about this past election cycle is the debacle of the gay marriage issue in the appropriate (or rather, inappropriate) states that have banned it. California, for instance, where it had been legal before. Now, this makes me pretty angry- saying that gay men and women gettting married diminishes the institution of marriage is ridiculous. Quite to the contrary, it only enhances the institution of marriage by allowing more legally-recognized couples that obviously really want to marry.

If you're concerned about the integrity of the legal and/or spiritual contract of marriage, ban it's appearance in popular media. The single most damaging opponent to the institution of marriage has been popular culture, whether it's the glorification of extra-marital affairs in television, film and literature, the runaway train that is internet porn, or the utter ease involved in ending a marriage, either through divorce, dissolution, or annulment. You're worried about saving the institution of marriage? Stop letting Peuterey Sito Ufficiale people get married every other year by appearing before a judge! Stop letting habitual divorceés move from marriage to marriage with no original assets, no job, and no chance of success! ****.

The other thing that makes me mad about this whole Prop 8 thing is that it's being blamed on the increased turnout by black voters. We JUST made progress with Barack Obama being elected PRESIDENT, and we're already vilifying blacks again. Are you ****ing serious? Blame ignorance. Blame intolerance. Blame bigotry. Don't blame black people for voting, because it has nothing to do with someone being black if they have voted against the legality of gay marriage. It has to do with them being stupid, not black.

So. yay for progress! YES WE CAN!

Thought made ready. Battle Ready. by SinisterNinja

What I liked about this election was that it seems like America has woken up from its Orwellian hypnotic state. Go back and read some of GWB's speeches. Or Cheney's. Or any number of neocon nutjobs that have been in power recently. Or even the ones that weren't in power, like Newt Gingrich.

Listen to the pig man, Rush Limbaugh. Listen to the right-wing nutjobs in media. They're all flapping their arms and yelling "I'm melting!" like the wicked witch.

My View of Evangelical Christians Voting for Mitt Romney qiuwenkai1030

Peuterey Outlet

I have heard many Christians express concerns about voting for Mitt Romney because he is Mormon. They certainly have this right, but I'd ask that they give me one chance to offer another view. You see, I am a former Atheist, now a born again Evangelical Christian. My degree is in the Ministry. My favorite ministry is "Answers In Genesis" with Ken Ham. I am not a Mormon. But I offer the following points: 1. When Mormons cast millions of votes to help elect Reagan, the '94 Congress, and the 2010 Congress, did we protest? I doubt it. 2. Now a Mormon wishes to do more than help us elect great people. He wants to do something he does very well, which is LEAD. So, would we tell this Mormon to do what Obama tells all Republicans to do, and "get in the back seat" like a good little 3rd class citizen? I hope not. 3. In other words, do we trust Mormon citizens with the great responsibility of voting, but not governing? Are they fine as long as they stay in the place we assign them? That's just not us. 4. Our current President went to a church that preached Liberation Theology, which is a blending of Marxist thought and Christian rhetoric. His pastor and mentor mocked Jews while praising Muslim leaders-which was certainly within his rights. So tell me, do we see hoards of Americans flocking to that belief system now that they have a President who supports it? Of course not, because our President doesn't dictate our religious beliefs. 5. Mitt Romney Peuterey Outlet says he's running for Commander In Chief, not Minister In Chief. He wants all religious beliefs-yours, mine, his, everyone else's-to be exercised in total freedom. For instance, though he's not Catholic, Romney openly opposed President Obama's attempt to force Catholic organizations to offer health options that violated their conscience. In other words, Mitt Romney supports our religious freedom. He and President Obama differ here. 6. Finally, Mitt Romney pledged to support whomever won the GOP nomination, and one reason is that he feels we need a President who cherishes the religious rights of all Americans. Would you consider making this pledge as well? I hope so. In conclusion, I certainly understand the concerns Evangelical Christians have over supporting someone who holds different views. We Christians have been demonized from every corner over every issue, so we have every right to our suspicions and doubts. But let's keep in mind that in voting for a President, we are hiring an employee, not proclaiming a savior. We already have one of those. And unlike the current President, Mitt Romney will protect-not attack-our freedom to serve Jesus Christ without violating our conscience. He has my thanks.

Myers Updates Story for AUSTIN POWERS 4 qiuwenkai1030

http://www.peutereyi.com/

We've known of an Austin Powers 4 in development since last year when Michael Myers announced his plans to flesh out a new story for his franchise. Well, a year later, Myers has an idea in mind for his fourth installment and here's what he had to say to Deadline Hollywood Daily on it.

I'm told http://www.peutereyi.com/ that Mike Myers has started writing Austin Powers 4 which will be a homage to his father. "It's very personal with a father and son theme loosely based on his own life," an insider tells me. As Myers has previously said, this fourth installment of the super spy spoof movie series will focus on Austin's arch-villain Dr. Evil, who was based on Blofeld of the Bond films. But what hasn't been known is that the AP4 plot is really about Dr. Evil and his son (introduced already as Scott Evil, played by Seth Green).

I have never forgiven Mike Myers for the abomination that was "Austin Powers: Goldmember." He took what was a good series and flushed it down the toilet. There were so many WTF moments: Mini-Me switches sides to become Mini-Austin? Austin has a father played by Michael Caine? Dr. Evil is Austin's brother?! And casting "popular at the time" stars like Beyonc Knowles really killed the series. She was horrendous. And the Tom Cruise and Britney Spears cameos in the beginning made me want to get up and walk out of the theater. When you take a pop-culture phenomenon and let everyone in on it, it's no longer hip and cool. It became Hollywood clown vomit.

And it really showcased how "un-cool" the series had become when he had the little cartoon "mojo" icons floating around him. They had too much money to throw around during production and Myers was too over the top. And frankly, Goldmember was a very weak character who was gross too (peeling his skin flakes off). Not even remotely funny. I will admit that the "Moley-moley-moley" line was funny, but only for the first 200 times I heard it in public.

And for years, we had idiots doing terrible Austin impressions in public: "Oh, beeeehave!" and "Do I make you horny, baby?" over and over. It just became old, wore-out jokes. Yes, this 3rd installment ruined the series for me and many others. I can't even watch the first two movies anymore, because I started to realize that Mike Myers' humor isn't all that special. He just got lucky with a couple of roles. And I won't even comment on his recent movies, which have lead to ultra-disasters like "The Love Guru." The only good thing you can say about Mike Myers today is "at least his career is better than Eddie Murphy's."
