FWIW, Ford had a small-displacement diesel in development for the F150 (it was being developed alongside the Scorpion diesel that became the current 6.7 PSD). They shelved it due to the lack of demand for diesels in half-tons, but there's talk that it might actually make it to market when the Expedition re-merges with the F150 in '15 (for the CAFE numbers).

got a buddy who is a Master Mechanic who works at Fenton, he has not heard anything. If he did, they would send him to training in Dallas. more to come I guess.
If I ever need another diesel, I'll buy Ford (American) again! No need in taking a chance on an unproven, foreign truck that will set you back $30-$40000!
