Anyone know anything about the Norinco 1911's? Any/all info would be appreciated. I picked one up over the weekend I only have about $300 in it altogether.

Great 1911. lot of them are used as race guns. Hi quality steel is the reason why. Unfired Norinco's are going at sale for 95-99% at $500 -600 bucks. I have two and both are unfired. Boxe's look trashed on the outside but the way I got them.

I can’t say definitively, but I’ve never heard they weren’t completely interchangeable.

I've heard nothing but good about Norincos. Other than gunsmiths hate them because the steel is so hard. At least according to the interwebz.
