Northern Illinois has been picked by the Orange Bowl

Well guess OU should have lost to a lower ranked team like LSU, Georgia and several other teams did, instead of loosing to a team that was ranked #1 and the now #1 ranked teams. I'm sure N. I. will bring hundreds of fans to the Orange Bowl that will result in like over a thousand dollars to the local economy!

I imagine TENS of people will tune in for that one.

The best thing about OU/A&M is it will be Johnny Suckball's (Landry Jones) final 60 minutes.

WHile on the subject of quarterbacks. If there's one thing that has given OU's defense a pile of trouble lately, it's been really mobile quarterbacks. This kid from College Station is sure a handful. Hope the Sooners can contain him.

I know we are in Oklahoma and generally care about OU and OSU, however UGA is the team that has the biggest complaint. They were ranked #3 lost to the #2 team in a championship game. That loss by 4 points and lost a BCS bowl bid to Florida who they beat earlier in the year. That is the real stupidity with this years BCS.

FSU will be more embarrassed than OU was when we lost to Boise State.

I wouldn't say that game was embarrassing. That was a tough loss in one of the best games
I've ever watched.

Not the WVU loss, USC loss... Those were embarrassing.

FSU wins the conference wins automatic birth to the orange bowl. Plays NIU
Clemson does not win division, does not get the chance to play in the ACC championship game. Plays LSU.

Which fan base should be more excited?

A team playing in a Great Bowl vs a Nobody
A team playing against a great team in an good bowl.

If I was a Clemson fan, I'd be excited. If I were an FSU fan, I'd be grumpy. NIU didn't only rain on OUs parade
