Pretty neat stuff to kill some time.

Makes me want to invest in a CNC mill, I'd have to learn to program it as well... Oh well, maybe some more votech in my future before I grow up.

Where I do think that the idea of machining your own lower is really, really cool, the price of an 80% lower is not so cool. Unless they have come down considerably, you can buy two finished lowers from Fatboy for the price of one, and still have to do the machining. Still, it is super neat to watch and think about.

Well, one could argue the whole "no need for an FFL" thing in favor of machining your own 80%.

Or just buy one from an individual.

That said, Anderson has some for $45 right now. That's way better than $120. Might be neat to do.
