I stand by what I said in my last post. Because if they decide to want ya, theyre gonna get ya. Just flying under the radar and trying to be as non existent as you possibly can these days for the law abiding of us folks is getting harder and harder. Criminals know what its like to live dangerously. They live on a 'when' they catch me schedule rather than like us living on an 'if' they find something on me or if I do something and find that I didnt quite cover my azz well enough.

Im no Catholic schoolboy for sure, I know- like alot of other people- I do or have done stuff that is likely close to being illegal or probably even is in some states because who the hell could know all of the freakin laws there are that you could be breaking. "hey, I didnt know it was illegal to let my dog F a chicken". Then after they see the video someone shot or they hacked into my home system and got it off my computer or watched thru my cameras then here comes the black SUVs.

I live rural in both of 2 different states during the year and have alot on my plate already with a traveling occupation and grown kids spread out all over the place to help get started in life and to keep an eye on. I dont want to live in fear worrying about any more stuff than I already have to. I have solid assets, some good contacts, and access to good representation, I would like to think that I would be able to defend myself as/if it comes along- depending on what they have on me. Tax issues have been enough of a nightmare for me as a life long self employed person. I almost never get all of my different 1099s collected before the deadline. I always worry if I have filed something wrong or fudged on one or two. Ive been in some type of business the last 25 years and have dealt with alot of red tape working in the businesses I have (entertainment industry and the body modification/tattooing,piercing businesses. Owning clubs and tattoo shops brings a lot of heat down on ya).

I loaded up the digital version of a weird book on my old PC quite a while ago called 'How to be invisible'. It is supposed to be dead serious, this one guys method of going 'off the grid'. I think it was written in the 60s or 70s the way it reads out. Interesting reading, in a weird way. Realistic? No idea. If it was would I do it? Probably. But I probably have very little to no chance of ever going on the run or becoming 'invisible'. Just not smart enough.

Makes me want to install PGP encryption on my email and send as much email as possible.
Just to scroo with the system.

As long as you're sending it to the same people that you send real mail to, and with the stuffed messages having metadata and characteristics similar to a real message encrypted via PGP.
Otherwise it's an outlier that can just be excluded statistically.

Rather than creating a new thread I just figured I would bring this one back around.

Obama administration has finalized the rules before leaving office for the data sharing.

http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/...on-relaxes-rules-on-nsa-intelligence-sharing/

So basically the NSA can collect anything they want about anyone without a warrant and then share the warrantless data with all other agencies. So basically from now on at the federal level we will likely see less warrant requests and more NSA requests backdoor to get the same information.
