Obama decides he doesn't like that debt ceiling thing

This is the scariest thing about the future of gun control, this president is showing that he is perfectly willing to just ignore laws or make them up on his own if he can't have his way with congress. Hopefully the courts would step in if he over steps his bounds and tries to enact gun control without congress, but how long would that take? The courts aren't always sticklers for the constitution either. I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but it's no theory that this president has no regard for the constitution or the law. He may just try to regulate the gun or ammo industry right out of business.

The scariest thing about MR. Obama in general, and it may get me banned from here, but it is the fact that he is a BLACK democrat, and as president, is completely above mundane things like our silly ass constitution. Face it, there is no one with the fortutude to stop him, and of a certaintly, be labled with the most dreadful title known to modern politicians, that of, BIGOT. Oh, and by the way, had she run in 08, Condoleezza Rice would have been my candidate for president. So don't bother calling me racist, it won't wash.

Congress appropriates the money, not the President.

If Congress doesn't raise the debt ceiling, or cut appropriations what would you do to avoid violating Article 14, Section 4?

He isn't trying to avoid it. He is appealing to his base by declaring he is willing to do whatever is necessary and daring his political opposition to try to stop him. He knows that the MSM will happily declare any opposition to be political opportunists trying to ensure the failure of the president because they are greedy, uncaring of the poor, and of course, racist.

Call me crazy but I think his "base" is in for a rude shock when their pay check hits at the end of this month or the end of this fortnight.
And hopefully, this time, even these morons will blame obama, and not bush....well at least 30-40% of them will.
