Obama has a mandate from the majority of the voters in the United States to impose whatever changes he felt are necessary.

Since relatively few Pro-Gunners (not gun owners...there's a difference) voted for Hussein Obama, then his supporters don't see a problemn with disarming law abiding gun owners to prevent criminals from owning guns.
