well we got skunked but it was good father daughter time. She got to practice gun safety and practice her sight tracking on the dragonfly's since she just had to bring her gun (no ammo). Truth be told it made me super happy that she wanted to come.
Had a great evening hunt. Two of us ended up with 26 birds. We had lots of bird dogs with us to help recover them. 
Nothing flying where we sat last night. Only 2.

Managed these 4 birds on opening day...
Shot these birds on a solo hunt Friday evening after work. Good times!
The wife even got up and went Saturday morning (free hunting days) and managed to shoot 3 birds, they were few and far between, kind of a bummer since she hasn't been hunting with me in a long time. We had a great family morning together though!
We went out again last night. Action was slow but we had a blast. Here are two of the four we bagged , and a pic of my buddy's son Seth. He is going to be quite the hunter. He's 5 now which makes him easy to lift over the fence to get the birds on the other side so my fat rear doesn't have to crawl under!!
