An investigation isn't needed, The video says it all, the cop should be fired Mon. morning and told to leave town. He's a disgrace to the PD and the city, he's a time bomb, I'd hate to see what he would do in a stressful situation. He should also loss his right to possess a firearm. I hope Karma visits the cop soon.

Well, I am from a time where if you gave a cop problems, you were gonna pay, and we had a lot fewer problems in general thanks to that. It IS regrettable the old man is hurt, it IS regrettable the cop did not realize how easily the old man would go down, we older folk break easily, and hope the old man heals up with no problem. There are still some older folk who can hurt you, though, and base responsibility still goes on the old man for telling a cop to shut up and laying hands, as a cop is not going to know what is gonna happen next.

Well it shouldn't be. I think the police have become too violent and they always have their guns out and screaming now. It's different than it was even 20 years ago.
Can i ask what world were you raised in where you were told it was ok to enter a police officer’s space and touch him when he was responding to a call or working an accident?

Its unfortunate the old man got injured but he did mess up, will he have any charges dropped probably it’s possible. Did the cop act inappropriately? Not so much he just used more physical force than he should have in subduing the subject. Having said that doing what the old man did was enough to be arrested and charged . You don’t touch a cop on duty and working

I just don't think it's good to hurt people unnecessarily. The cops seem to mostly take it to level 10 any time they get a chance. Just like this. There was no need to be that rough with that old man. It's not the cops job to punish people.

You, of course, know what most cops do most times, rather than just baselessly smearing an entire class of people.
