The airbows im seeing has no string or bow on them, just a airgun that shoots arrows.

Well from my understanding now you can after getting the $20 permit

I’m a big fan of pneumatic weapons. The photographed pump and tank are used to feed the smaller tank on the weapon - how I do it. Specialized hand-pumps can be used and give one a good workout. Still, I’ll be getting a 500 fps crossbow (like a Ravin) before an airbow as long as one can only use it during rifle season.

Great point, I never thought of that option for them.

I’ve hunted with a wheel chair bound gentleman that is a member of this forum. He hunts with a crossbow on a special mount on his chair. One shot and that’s it unless an attendant is available to recock the bow.
He has been pretty successful on whitetail, as his shots are carefully placed knowing he has one shot.
This air bow would give him even more independence.
