FBI & CDC Stats Confirm Oklahoma Violent Crime Rate Higher Than New York & California

In the gubernatorial debate, candidate Joy Hofmeister made the claim that Oklahoma has more violent crime than New York & California. After looking through the numbers, she was right.

Of course it's in how you juggle the numbers and definitions, and I've heard that LEO agencies sometimes tweak numbers in reporting crimes, but Hoffmeister was technically correct in her claim, and Stitt looks a bit like an azz, and channel 9 gets to point it out.

Interestingly, The Frontier (not exactly a hotbed of conservatism) said Joy was correct, but left out the part where that has been true since around 2002.

I'm NOT a Stitt fan...... But im hella NOT a joy fan. So the standard lesser of two evils wins out.

Honestly any protest vote is a vote for Joy. Might as well just vote for her.

Yes, that’s it and while I know she is ‘technically’ correct, the numbers can be moved around to fit a narrative. Per capita and definitions of crimes and how they are reported should be a factor but that’s not the angle the story took.

All our violent crime is primarily due the gunshow loophole. It's really the only thing that makes sense.

My guess is the ones from CA and others that are relocating their lives to OK for the most part are not liberals.

Joy has preached critical race theory for the schools and there were some sexually explicit books found in the Mustang school library teaching positions and how to perform them. You don't hear about them now, but they have been removed, I think. Stitt may not be perfect, we all make mistakes because we are human, but he is Pro 2 A and has the States best interest at heart I feel. Joy has flip flopped from Republican to Democrat Party and is on the Democratic dole it seems. I believe Stitt is the best choice. Joy it seems received around 19 million dollars from the Oklahoma tribes to fund her campaign against Stitt. If she wins ,I hear there will be additional money that she will receive from the tribes. My $.02.

I don't know that I've seen an ad from her that was paid for by her campaign.
