This bill was being discussed on KTOK/Matthews radio program this evening(4-19-24). Within 72 hours of their conviction or release from custody convicted migrants would be required to leave the state.

Sounds good to me. We need to start chain gangs in prison again. Nobody should be able to just sit in jail. They need to work and be charged a daily fee to be housed in jail.

Back when I was growing up, gangs of county prisoners spent most days in ditches with wick wack's cutting johnson grass from the ditches. Seems like it was back in the 80's when the Supreme Court found it was cruel and inhumane to force a prisoner to perform physical work as part of their punishment.
The old days of chain gangs and busting rocks with a tack hammer days were over.
