About now I get to thinking about the OK pheasant crop. Does anyone have any news or think so or hope so or guesses about the prospects for this year? I haven't seen anything from the OK Game Dept.
I’ve seen one roster fly across the road this winter and heard one cackle while in the deer stand a week ago. It’s not good.
I live in Beaver county. I drive to guymon everyday. The pheasants are thick along the road out here. I’ve seen flocks with 8-10 rooters fly across the road in front of me. The problem? Little bastards are on private land! Lots of public land out here though.
Public land in 35' wide strips for miles. Lol

I don't know if that is still legal or not. The trespass laws have changed many times since those days.
