We had a Taco Tico in Enid. Loved that place!

Val Gene's cafeteria in Shepard Mall way back in the day. Ann's Chicken Fry House on 39th expressway. Oui Lin's Chinese Place on about 10th and Penn, in the same general area the old Mashburn Arms place was.

remember Val Genes and Queen Annes. Oui Lin's, I ate there as a kid, hardly any good Chinese restaurants around then. Also, remember that theater, Mashburn Arms, and Jackson Drug on the corner. Robert Jackson and wife were really good people.

Western sizzler 74/south side western or penn I think, was where the employees got taken to the freezer and shot, I never are there again after that

It was the Sirloin Stockade off of I240, somewhere around Penn (that's why they were called "the Sirloin Stockade murders"). That's what I was referencing when I mentioned Roger Dale Stafford.

Not long after the murders, my baseball team went to watch the '89ers at ol' All Sports Stadium, and we passed that Sirloin Stockade on the way back. It was after dark, and seemed spooky as hell to us kids...

Were they open after the murders took place? I barely remember the place , don't know if I ever are there.

I'm pretty sure they opened back up after a while but didn't last long after that

There's still at least 2 Del Ranchos, one on Moore off Main and I35 and one on 44th and Agnew

I recall it being closed when we went by, but it could just've been because it was late. Plus, it was 35 years ago...
