We finally got the table built to turn one of the "crap" rooms into the reloading room! Oh yes, it was definitely "we." Somebody has to bring the carpenter drinks. :sunbath:

This is where I started taking pics: the 3 big pieces + table top + 2 small pieces

It's table-like! And has a shelf-like thing!

Nope, nobody's home. Go away.

AWESOME! Great work.

How much did the lumber set you back? I need to build one about HALF that size.

I honestly don't know. z06man got the lumber around the time he got this house and planned to have a reloading room, which was 4ish years before I even knew him. The table top is just a solid wood exterior door that didn't get any holes put in it. It is HEAVY. We could probably jump up and down on it in unison and nothin would happen.

Now that I can visually approve you two's construction capability, you are authorized to come build me a bench.

:thumbup3:

I'll do almost anything for the right price. :drunk5:

Looking good. Good choice going with a solid piece of wood for a top. I cheaped out on my workbench and went with particle board. Now.. after many years of heavy use.. its disintegrating and I need to replace it.

We probably built it heavier-duty than it really needs to be, since we're planning to move in a year or so, and it will all have to be taken apart then. Oh yay.

I've been told my personality alone is payment enough. ;)

Bench does look really good, by the way.

 What did she want that you had?

Thanks. I played absolutely no part in how it turned out, other than occasionally holding what I was told needed to be held. :teehee:
