I use adapters for the suppressors I have and have a few guns with each. LaRue, Surefire SOCOM, and AE brake and collar.

I figure if you know what suppressor(s) you're gonna get, then get the adapters that are common to the suppressor(s). I use the LaRue suppressor for 308, 6.5/260, and 556 and 300BLK, so it gets used a lot and is pretty much universal for my needs which sounds like what you're planning.

My problem is that I’m not finding any flash hider muzzle devices with the 1.375-24 threads that I can pin and weld on. Rex Silentium makes one, but from initial looks it appears that I would have to drill through the suppressor mounting threads to P&W it, and while they don’t have dimensions on the website, it looks like it’s too short to bring me to 16.1 or better.

Why change?

On ARs, trying to get a handguard as long as possible makes it a PITA when you have to leave room to manipulate the lock ring by hand (ASR). If you could tuck it a smidgen and not have to manipulate the lick ring (Keyno), it would he easier/nice because it's not as critical and you could go say +/- .5" instead...and opens up more handguard possibilities

Probably no help, but I really like the Thunderbeast suppressors and mounts. The mounts are the lightest of any I have ever seen. The suppressors are also the lightest ones on the market as they are tubeless. The 30 cal one I just got from them weighs just 7 ounces and it's decibel rating at the ear for a 18" barrel AR-10 with M118 special ball is 129. Damn quiet!

So I’m neck deep in a 14.5” pin and weld AR build. Have everything I need…. But today, as I was setting up to pin and weld my muzzle device, I realize that I ordered the wrong one. I was going to use the Sons Of Liberty Gun Works NOX with the keymo QD setup (Sons of Liberty Gun Works NOX Flash Hider | Rosco Manufacturing). Well, I accidentally purchased the non QD slick sided version. So I guess I have the opportunity to rethink My purchase.

First: Why the SOLGW NOX? From what I have read, its effective with flash reduction, and provides a little mitigation of muzzle rise as well. That, combined with its price point and ability to work with the 14.5 build was a big plus.

I do not have a suppressor yet. However, I want to purchase one in the near future. Ideally it will be a 30 cal suppressor, that will get used on both my 556, 762x39, and 308 rifles. So I want something I can use with everything and this p&w rifle will have to play along. I don’t know that I am a big fan of the dead air line. They seem nice, but I don’t know. I have been leaning towards the Rex silentium suppressors, I really have my eye on the Mod X modular 308 suppressor. It’s a little pricier than I want to spend, but they sounds like they’re pretty nice, and I like the ability to switch from a short can for signature reduction, to a large, very effective can. They’re compatible with the 1.375-24 QD muzzle devices, but I‘m wanting to find a muzzle device that will work with my plan to pin and weld as well. Suggestions on cans or suppressors? other muzzle devices that would work? What would you choose for a 14.5 build with this in mind? I’m not really planning on having more than one suppressor.
I have the Saker 762 that I use on my 308 and 556 and 300 blk ….get the flash hider for it on each rifle and the suppressor quick connects and locks over the flash hider with just a couple of twists

As somebody with a pinned 13.9 upper, if I did it again, I would just go to a 16" barrel, it's not that much longer and you won't be as stuck if you decide you want to change muzzle devices for any reason in the future.

On my 13.9, I have a Surefire 4 prong pinned and that limited my options heavily to only Surefire cans.

I think you all are going about things wrong.
Buy a rearden atlas. Or atlas xl , rockset it on the suppressor. It's 1.375 x24 and forget it.
Then go buy Rearden, Liberty Precision or whoever's plan B muzzle devices and rockset them on the guns.
Muzzle devices when using a can don't have to be specially "timed" so you can skip tha washer, shims or any of that BS.
I have 2 atlas's and 14 Liberty and Rearden muzzle devices.
These items are heat treated, suppressors are not.
Constant screwing and unscrewing of crap into the fine threads of the suppressor can cause you to have to buy a new one soon.
This goes the same on pistol cans.
Buy a booster, then a piston that fits it from Griffin Armament and the ****lok
Muzzle devices for quick change.
