You are being kind to assume that is what he meant to say. If that was the case he had opportunity explain it and he has yet to do such. Secondly he has also recently posted about shooting people with “helmets” who are prone. Point being it is WTF (as in “who?”) knows what he is saying? Had he meant to say as you suggest, he should have said so or at the least corrected his post.
True not all Muslims want jihad much less are “terrorists”. That said the Gallup Center for Islamic Studies (they lean to the apologist side of the field) have stated that only about 10% of Muslims believe in their (almost) 1,400 year holy war. While others have estimated that number higher, when we do the math at 10% that is 200m+ Muslims that want to lop off our infidel noggins. Interesting that this 10% number has been consistent throughout the centuries. Meaning it is not GITMO or our alleged “imperialism” which the left whines about that is driving their “anti-social” behavior. Fact is to the “true believer” it is their faith that mandates that they do what they do … wage holy war to take Islam to every corner of the earth.
Not all Muslims are terrorists … but there are a lot of them that are. And I agree that the only way to deal with jihadists is to kill them. Problem here is once you kill one you created a blood feud obligating their next of kin to join the jihad. This goes to what Trump said about killing their families. While our ROE do not allow for that, given history and given their beliefs ... the only way to stop the terrorist is to kill the terrorist and their family tree down to the root. This will likely never happen and we will never see the end of fighting Islamic terrorists.
To your post, “gun control” is the perennial wet-dream of the progressively challenged. It does not work here or there, in a boat or with a goat because a “sign” much less a “law” does not address the root cause of what drives violent crime. Liberals find it easier to blame the gun that to blame the years of failed economic and social policies that have created crime in the inner cities.
“Gun Free Zones” have not lived up to their advertisement when one considers the number of gun crimes and the scale of gun crimes committed in such zones. To this, if the Daily Show were to come out and say that more guns equal less crime and that “gun control” does not work, I doubt their audience would believe them.
It is true that I do/did not know the true intent of what okeydoke meant to say. I am not all that familiar with his posts. I just know that terrorists(any nationality and/or homegrown, any religion, etc.) and any nutcase(any nationality and/or homegrown, any religion, etc.) will never pay attention to any signs, any laws, any anything, etc. if they are bound and determined to do their will/take lives. I just could not believe the irony that the Daily Show could do this skit on terrorism and not relate it to gun control as well. Just remember: Here in the US it is about disarmament in preparation for subjugation. All of it will then make sense. No other end fits the means being employed by the left/anti-gun-rights crowd.

That's the goal of the left.
And it is mind numbing.
The left side of the "isle" contends that if there are no guns there will be no gun violence. In "theory" that makes sense. But in "theory", time travel and communism make sense too.
They also believe that if one side does not have guns they will not be attacked by those with guns. This was evident in how liberal management handled Benghazi where security assets were denied weapons and probably at the heart of the Battle of Mogadishu where command was denied Bradleys and Spectre gunships. They think that too much firepower provides a bad optic and promotes violence.
Elections have consequences.
