But I digress, good morning!
Dropped a dad and 9 year old son off in my best deer hunting spot about an hour and a half ago to see if the young man can get his first deer during the holiday doe season. Came to the Tonkawa hotel/Casino for breakfast.

Yes, the wife and I love Casino buffets as well. Our lake house is just about a mile from the Grand Lake Casino in Grove, we eat there quite a bit when we are up there. Very good.

Did some shooting yesterday. First time in about a year IIRC. Felt good, got to catch up with some friends (I KNOW!! Who knew I could have A friend, muchless more than one! Haha!), and there is nothing better on the planet than shooting outside in weather like we had yesterday.

Today is baking cookies, making pecan brittle and maybe a cake, too, to take to a party later in the day tomorrow. Other than that, Christmas is gonna be nice and quiet. Except for me tearing up my sewing room to find the face plate for my Pfaff. I swear -- the things I lose.

My wife loves the fall colors and this year we didn’t have a chance to take a drive. So, following Terry’s lead,I sent her this pic while I was deer hunting one morning. When the sun hit those oaks, it was like God flipped a light switch.
