Good morning all. Enjoying the morning coffee infusion and watching a few birds in the yard that seem to be as uncertain about what to do today as I am.

Bad deal today for Gov Stitt. Whatever he does today will be wrong, all because of the actions of someone else. Between this deal and the Kenosha trial, this evening will be examples of the worst of society.

Not to mention that Methuselah dollars were only worth about .17 cents compared to today dollars. :rollingla
. . . which are worth much less.

Wife and I are improving in our health. We both got antibiotics yesterday evening for what we believe to be URI. After taking the two pills for the first night, our coughing has diminished and her fever has gone down.

Now, if we just felt good enough to get out and go do something pleasurable, like go take pictures or something. Shoot, even taking a long walk would be nice.

Sounds like what my wife and I have. What did they give you and how long does this crap last? Glad you are feeling better.

Jo said that the message on Mercy's online service mentioned something like a Z-pak antibiotic. Two pills taken the first night and then a follow up of one pill per night for 4 nights. We'll run the gambit of the pills and finish them Saturday night.

URI will cause very serious coughing to the point that one can't lie down and sleep. One almost has to sleep sitting up in some fashion, thus a recliner is a blessing. While we are both coughing some, she was able to sleep in bed all night last night. I was lying in bed but then got to coughing again, so I got up and slept in the recliner again so she could get some rest. I was able to pretty much get horizontal without too much coughing by the time last night was over.

Oh, and the antibiotic is pretty much inexpensive. The wife's prescription was sent to CVS by mistake, so she paid a bit over $3 for her prescription. Mine went to Walmart as it was supposed to and mine was free.

Thank you. I will be checking on that.

Wife and I are improving. At least now when we cough, we don't have to hold our torso to keep it from hurting so much.

I had taken all of my cameras, the 200-500 mm lens, and tripod out last night, just in case I woke up in time to go get shots of the lunar eclipse. I even woke up a couple of times during the eclipse, but decided that I didn't want to take my recovering body outside into 20-something degree weather.

So, sorry...

...no photos.

I still want to get lunar shots when it is full.
