Yeah, you can’t tell when I take them other than I don’t hurt. my wife is high as a kite when she takes them (all legal scripts). I‘m also lucky that I have no idea how people get addicted to them, they do nothing fun to me.

Ditto ... They make me nauseous and I score a good stint of pretty randy vomiting but no buzz ... Weirdest damn thing. Because 1 beer ... A glass of wine or 1/2 a stout drink and I am 3 sheets in the wind. 🤷 I dunno ... One of a kind, for sure! 🤔🤗

I get zero side effects. Give me Benadryl and I’m so hyper I can’t function…

At work we had a group of contractors 30/35, gathered in the control room waiting to get safety permits. One of the guys on shift, with a good sense of humor, went into the bathroom, let out the BLOOD CURDLING SCREAM! Everyone just froze, and you could have heard a pin drop! This guy then came out of the bathroom, whisling and casually walked through this crowd, and out the door! I still laughg when I think about this, working shift work makes you a little stir-crazy I guess?

If I didn't accomplish anything else, I did pay off my house this morning! Took some money from IRA and got it done. I know, not the best idea I'm sure, but I just turned 44 and figure I can build it back, and might never see retirement...taking care of "now stress" now!

Mondays are my Fridays, thank you Baby Jesus. Because there is one chick up there who would have driven Mother Theresa to drink. No doubt in my mind. 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Oh well she's not my problem. Not until Thursday anyway ... Lol

Have 7 lbs. of thinly sliced beef rump roast. And a recipe for a marinade I've been wanting to try out. The dehydrator is ready and waiting. I'll stick the roast in the marinade tonight and load it into the dehydrator Thursday afternoon when I get home from work. If it passes the taste test I'll share the recipe. I gotta admit I'm kinda excited about this batch. Got high hopes for the marinade. We shall see ...

In other news, making yogurt drops for the freeze dryer. And probably gonna do a tray or 2 of mango slices and pineapple tidbits.

Congratulations! I'm sure there will be those who think you made a not-so-good decision, but they know nothing of your situations or especially stress load. At 44 you do indeed have plenty of time for building retirement funds, especially without mortgage payments. Good for you!

Wife and I spent most of the day insulating and putting up paneling in our new storage shed. We may only be about half done with the work, but the work pretty much did more than "half done" to us. We will still have some more to do tomorrow, so I think Ibuprofin is something in order for tonight.
