If one goes to the Grand Canyon South Rim via Highway 89, one heads west to the GC from a place called Cameron, AZ. Between Cameron and the GC is another gorge, which is the Little Colorado River Gorge and a feeder to the Colorado from the East. This picture was taken from Highway 64 there west of Cameron. A good portion of this area is on Navajo tribal land.

Went out on the boat early this morning for a couple of hours and yes it was a bit chilly. Caught a few small white bass. Nothing to speak of but it was fun.

2008 saw us do a Fall foliage tour over around Springdale, AR and down to Mena, AR and then back to Talahina and home. This one was taken in Arkansas.
Oh, and we are fixing to go visit my sister up in the Panhandle today. She is suffering from dementia and really has wanted to see me again, so I may not be posting any on OSA (including photos) as our phones don't work in the old home town and internet is even sketchy.

Things changed in our plans. Instead of spending the nights at my sister's house, we chose to get a hotel room for last night and tonight, thus, I do have some decent internet availability. So, here is some kind of bird in the surf in Crescent City, California.

I’ll be on the road today to be up there for opening of archery season tomorrow. I’ll be making a stop in Norman to meet up with a member here to drop off a project in need of cerakoting.
