I deliberated about posting this, because it wasn’t one of my finest moments. I had an “adult signature required” UPS package scheduled for delivery yesterday, and my UPS guy rarely get here before dark. I noticed my bull limping out in the pasture yesterday afternoon and jumped on the 4 wheeler to go investigate the problem, and in the less than 5 minutes I was gone, I missed the truck. No one was home but me, and it’s probably a good thing. I haven’t been that mad at myself in a long time. :censored:
I have one of my 'cell cameras' on my gate/drive. I get notified just like my other trailcams it someone is at the gate. Might have helped.

I run 7 cell cameras and get picture notifications all the time. If I checked every one as it comes in, I wouldn’t get anything else done in a day.

Thought I'd pass on how I deal with this. I have multiple cameras as well.....when I get notified of a pic....on my phone...but It mirrors to my apple watch. A quick glance to my watch tells me if it's one I need to look at or not.

Dark Hollow Falls in Virginia. The hike down to this falls and back taught me to question our youngest son's memory about what he had read about trail difficulty ratings. He thought it was rated as "easy," but was actually rated at "moderate." The difficulty that he and I both had in climbing back out indicated that "easy" didn't cut it. We both had to stop every so often and catch our breath.

Took the son and 9 year old grandson to our outdoor shooting range on Monday. My Henry Survival takedown 22lr fit the grandson just right where the 10/22 didn't. He had a lot of fun shooting the cans of Gillette shaving cream I had purchased just for this use. We set off a Tannerite can while we were there as well.....pretty impressive explosion.

While this plane is marked as being for Air Mail, this model of plane was actually designed as a passenger plane. Up to six people could be seated inside the fuselage while the pilot was out in the open cockpit. I may have to look into how the seating was arranged as there is only one window on each side of the plane.

A view seen from Devil's Tower in NE Wyoming. Our first visit to the site was while we were working eastern Wyoming for our Summer job, but we went there on a weekend and couldn't find a good parking spot for the work van. Thus, we went back to Devil's Tower when we took a vacation to South Dakota and did a day trip up to there.
