I wanted to let everyone know that once again the OSA members have done something good and will be helping someone that needs it.
You folks remember the 2 pups I found abandoned at the OKCGC and that many of you donate money to help get them healthy again? Well they had a tough time of it with each having a bad case of hook worms, then the female got bit by a spider and developed a big knot that burst, etc, but today the female has been accepted for training as a hearing impaired helper dog and there is already someone that wants her. She will start her training Friday.
We had the male tested too but he really wants to be a retriever, at least it seems that way to me because he will wear you out playing fetch.
He really needs a home with someone that will throw a ball for him and a yard to play in.
Both go in Sunday to be fixed and the male has pretty much gotten over his food issues and most times will leave the other dogs food alone unless they wander off and leave it.
If you want to check out the Hearing Impaired non-profit that will be training and placing her or if you want to donate to them,

After Sunday we will be looking for a home for the male. He is pretty calm when not playing with his sister but does need chew toys and bones. We also found out they are a mix of Black Lab and Australian Cattle Dog. The female shows more ACD traits while the male shows more Lab traits.
Anyway thanks to all of you. Y'all done good again!!!!
