I'm kinda torn on this one. They filed as a student organization while I was there so I can see how it would be pretty much the same as the band interferring.

Still. I think they should all dress in burnt orange this weekend and see if they can't get our offense some extra yards.

it's the artificial noise maker they banned. Same issue that many SEC schools have had with the Mississippi State cowbells (and the Texas Tech ones).

At some point they might ban them from being brought in entirely.

I am a Sooner fan, but this is wrong. Making these types of rules helps that some of the fun out of attending the games. Let tradition continue.

Oh this rule has the potential to be fun. Now fans of team X can just dress up like team Y and bang their noise makers whenever team X has the ball and troll the refs into penalizing team Y.
