I believe someone mentioned it but also consider that certain video cards require additional power connections off of you power supply. I don't believe that your current card requires this so you might avoid a new card that does. (unless you've got the extra connectors available)

I recommend a radeon 5670 or something similar. Its not the latest and greatest but it supports direct X 11 and doesn't require additional power hook ups. They go for less then a $100 and XFX offers lifetime warranty so if it ever goes out they'll replace it.

depending on your OS, Xp doesn't support direct x 11 or 10. You'll need vista to run 10 and win 7 to run DX 11..

He's right, but running the older OS's it will still work, it'll just operate on the supported direct X version with a performance penalty. But that gives you a reason to upgrade your OS later :P
