They are not cool when others can be hurt by the riders possible mistake. For example done on busy streets or highways. If no one is around or done out in the country then by all means enjoy life. If seeing someone fly by on the back of one wheel doesn't get your blood flowing a little more, then you obviously have never rode a wheelie or failed miserably trying.

I ride a "crotch rocket" as they are called, and I dont ride wheelies. They can cause road rash and I am pretty sure I am allergic to it. Not a smart thing to do anyway, but on a road to yourself, go ahead. Never on a road or highway with traffic. People like that is what gives all sport bike riders bad names and puts a target on my back for local LEO.
