Anyone own a Ruger SR-22 Carbine?

I vaguely remember seeing one at a gun show several years back,,,
I didn't pay it much attention but assumed (my bad) it had the same action as their SR-22 pistol.

So a buddy has an opportunity to buy one for a decent price,,,
But when I Googled it the info said it has the same action as the 10/22.

Anyone own one of these who can tell me a bit more about it?

Or. does the SR-22 pistol also use the same action as the 10/22?

I'm very confused.

The SR22 Carbine is a 10/22 action inside an AR-15 style stock.

The SR22 pistol uses a completely different action...like any gas-operated semi-auto pistol.
