I don't think this would be $5,000 well spent. But I'm poor and $5,000 goes a long way when you're poor.

I'd have to guess that when you walk into the room and sit at the big table, they know you mean at least $5K worth of business and aren't afraid to show it. That does tend to get people's attention. I'm not sure how many members we have, but this is crunch time on gun rights and it behooves every one of us to stand united. That's why I suggested a donation campaign. Heck, even if we didn't reach $5K, there are several levels between $50 and $5K that can be had. It's a pretty convenient way to put us in one room with EVERY Oklahoma Congressional delegate. A room with a much different atmosphere than a town hall meeting I might add.

My top three dynamic duo picks:
1. JB and Purplehaze
2. Ridgehunter and Ignerntbend
3. Zombiehunter and Nofearfactor

Numero Uno should absolutely be JB. He should decide either whom, or by what measure the other person at the big table is. Just my thoughts on the matter.

At the time of this post there were 253 members online. At $20 each, it would be the best $20 spent for helping secure your rights as a owner.

That's an excellent analysis! BTW, I'd donate at least $50, perhaps more if I can scrape it up. I went to my county's precinct delegate meeting tonight and I'm now the Rogers County Precinct 6 Chairman and delegate to the county convention. I also put in for a seat on the platform committee. I'll definitely be attending this delegation dinner, county delegate convention and hopefully, the state convention.

I figured I could sit at home on my keyboard, all depressed and angry about the state of the political process and the GOP itself, or I could put on my big boy pants and go to work. :anyone:

Don't know how much I can contribute, but I will do what I can.

And +1 to the last part.

I'd just like to point out that JB is a little swamped right now, but he's let me know that he's supportive of the idea. I'd like to see just a little more support for this before forging ahead though. Unfortunately, time is critical. If you're reading this thread, please get the word out. Throw a link to this thread into other discussions on 2A rights and political activity. PM your friends and urge them to vote in this poll, which is where I'm primarily tracking interest. If I think we have enough interest, I'll coordinate with JB and we'll set up a fundraising drive. I'll probably solicit assistance with collections and transparency reports. Donors could be anonymous or openly listed (and praised) at their choice.

Like I've stated, I'm going even if I have to buy my own ticket. It's just a matter of how close we can get to all of them at once and how much "face time" we have. the higher on the pricing schedule we are, the better our chances. I'll try to leverage my previous cooperative special project planning efforts with Rep. Bridenstine to get a little more.

Entry level tickets are only $45 through my county chairperson BTW. LETS MAKE THIS HAPPEN GUYS! :D
