If you mean the one where he's wearing a helmet and looks like he's ten, he's wearing his lieutenant's bar, so he'd be at least 19 (he was promoted to 2nd Lt. in the fall of 1944, well after his 19th birthday).

It's amazing--with all the things he'd seen and done at that point, he still looked like he wasn't ready to start shaving...and by the course of his life, he was almost middle-aged at nineteen. I just recently re-read To Hell And Back, and he certainly seemed a lot older than 19 at that point in his life...

A truly AMAZING HERO, he raised the bar, previously set by Sgt. York. As courageous as Markus Lutrell and Chris Kyle were, Audy Murphy is the ultimate in bravery, hero, kick some ass and get the job done.
