Selling for a friend, he is willing to consider trades on this one.
This is a Poly Tech SKS Hunter model in 7.62x39 caliber. I don't know much more than that about it, but asked a few people at the gun show on 3/11 for approximate value and they ranged up to $1000. One guy said the scope mount is hard to find and has some value. Parts of it are not original (the receiver cover, and I'm not sure what else). The serial number is in the high 003xx range, the serial number on the smaller magazine does not match. The bore looks good to me, but I'm not really an expert. If I don't have to drive too far, I don't mind a meet up for you to look it over without any obligation to buy.
I'm open to comments or PM's concerning the valuation if you are familiar with this type firearm. It is admittedly not in my wheelhouse, I'm going by what I've been told and what my friend wants to do. Don't know if I can answer your questions but I'll happily send you more pictures. Asking $900. Includes the two magazines in the picture, and two boxes of ammo (one Silver Bear and one WPA).
I can only attach 8 pictures, but have a few more and can take close ups of whatever else you would like to see.
