Not too surprising when folks realize that President Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. were republicans, and that the democrats were the ones opposed to Civil Righgts...not to mention major members of KKK, including George wallace, who was a democrat.

Yeah, I was listening to an article on the radio about George Wallace and LBJ,and while they were quick to point out that LBS was a Democrat who stood up aganst Wallace, it was never mentioned that Wallace was a Democrat.
