Anyone have a contact for a prairie dog hunt? Preferably withing half a day drive and not too pricey. Dont need any fancy lodging all inclusive stuff.
Ive heard you can venture out to Cimmaron or Texas Co and find ranchers that will let you shoot em for free.
Man, I'd be up for that if someone finds a place to go shoot 'em. Split the gas, and go shoot them varmints.

I remember the days when I could walk 2 blocks to the edge of town, sit at the edge of a prarie dog "town" with my pellet gun and spend the day picking them off.
Sure. Never ate a Prairie Dog before, but give me enough Tabasco Sauce and I can pretty much eat anything.
Prairie dog numbers are down. They had a disease come through there several years ago that took out a lot of the towns, but there are still plenty there.
