If you are chatting with someone overseas on Whatsapp is there and extra charges to either phone? I'm not a tech person at all.
I'm reading it's an app that one needs to keep aware of for possible scams like every other app.

I found out that if you or whoever you are chatting with on Whatsapp isn't using a Wi-Fi connection there may be some phone charges. Most of the info in the Norton warning usually applies to any website you use.
I use both text and phone to call friends globally, mainly India and have never got a charge.
