Grazed it hard for years. Still came back. It'll choke out every thing else as it'll grow 10 times faster than what else is out there.

I have cleaned the Johnson grass out of a lot of fields with Fusalade. Spray in the cool of the day and be sure to add some surfactant or liquid dish soap.

Actully the sandplums work better on the city folk trying to rampage thru the countryside for food when the economy collapses. Zombies do not care if they get poked, city folk are worried about tearing their designer clothes or getting their Nikes dirty.
