I've always believed the uptick in cancer wasn't because of improved testing techniques as they claim but rather the change in our diets from locally/home grown foods to the commercially chemically grown stuff we eat. You ever looked into how synthetic niacin is made? That crap is in all your enriched flour that in turn is in so so many products on store shelves

My wife has some sort of a mill thing. No hand crank but it makes a hell of a racket turning things that ain’t flour into flour. I gotta say I don’t know what it cost and I don’t like the noise but she makes some dang good breads and such with the assistance of it. She buys the stuff to grind over at the Amish store.

You know, when I was a boy a square bale could be picked up out of the field for a buck 50 and 2 bucks from the barn.
Early 90s or my cowboy days I was buying the 3x3 alfalfa for 75 bucks.
Sure wish I knew where I left my magic wand .
