Re blued or Parkerized

I’m looking for a price to have an old pistol refinished. Blued or parkerized works for me. I’m not picky.
What would it cost to have this done and where would I go or who would I contact?

Depending on what it is, it may have more value if left alone or may determine what finish would be best. IMO

It’s a 1943 Remington-Rand/Ithaca.

I would not touch it at all. I believe it might be a crime against guns in some parts with flogging with a cat-o-nine tails

But for reals, bad move IMO. It has more value as is even if it's got white metal all over. Ithacas and RR are not abundant and the last thing you want someone to do is poo bubba all over one.

I was offered 1200 and 1600 for it but I’m kind of attached to it now after everyone that sees it wants it. That makes me want to keep it. But that being said I want it to look better.
