Hey, it's nice to daydream about flak and drones, but you and me and Nic Kristof all know that if those things were available then we would have to start a civil war. Because civil war is caused by availability of weapons, and not any breakdown of government legitimacy or communication or representation.

I don't think we could ever have a revolution or civil war unless it was waged on some video game. Most of the American public are willing to lay down and be rolled over, vs fight against another American in a civil war.

Never gonna happen.

The war/civil/revolution we need is at the ballot box.

I don't know about the NRA -- I can only speak for myself. I'm not necessarily for civil war, but I am definitely for disobeying any further restriction on our right to bear arms; and if this brings us into armed conflict with anybody, then so be it. As everybody here knows (or should know), the whole point of the 2A is for the people to be able to engage in armed resistance against the State when their liberty is threatened.
