Recommend an iPhone 5 case

Getting ready to drop a pile of money on 2 64gb iPhone 5s and will be looking to put them in cases before we leave the store. I have a thin but hard rubber incipio case on my 4 right now and it works pretty well. Wife has some sort of thin hardshell on hers.

Not looking for otterbox or lifeproof cases. Too big and sticky for my front pocket. Already bought otterboxes for 2 of our kids that will get our current phones. I just need durable drop/ edge protection and a screen protector.

Anything stand out among the pile of current cases available?

Have you looked at the Lifeproof in person? It's a lot thinner than the otterbox and is not sticky. That's what I have.

I have an otterbox on my 5, but am wanting the morphie case with the battery when ever they come out. I had an Magpul case and had a zagg screen protector on my 4 and really liked it.

Search billet iPhone cases or metal iPhone cases. They amazing and are very tough at the same time. Vossen makes the one I have but they mainly design F1 suspension!

I like the very thin cases myself. I have an incipio feather on my 4s. Although I have broken one case I still love it. A co-worker liked mine and bought one for his 5.

I do prefer the matte black finish over the slick finishes.

The newer otter box rubber is a lot firmer then it used to be. Still big though but I've dipped mine off a ladder many times with no ill affect.

I have a Seidio Surface on my atrix with a screen protector and it works great, thin and protects from drops.

This, bigtime. I had a Mophie on my 4S and loved not having to charge the battery twice a day. I recently got a 5 with work and bought the Otterbox case for it. It's not the greatest case design Otter has ever made.
