Rem. .22 Short, model # help

I am following another thread about a Winchester .22 and it got me to wondering about the model of a rifle that I have. The Pat.# was polished off during a reblue it looks like and thought you guys would know. It loads through the butt stock and is a take down model that ejects from the bottom.

Looks like a Remington Model 24.

Don't know the model number, but thats Remingtons copy of the FN/Browning 22Auto rifle. Remington had patent rights along with FN to produce these.
