Remington 40x trigger

Guys, I just bought a remington 40x trigger to replace the x mark pro trigger in a remington 700 sps tactical. The trigger I bought has a little side to side play in the trigger itself. Is this normal? It's urks me so I was hoping you guys could give me some advice on it as otherwise I love this trigger

None of my old Remington triggers have side to side slop. I would check the housing to make sure it is tight against the trigger.
