I had a Mohawk Brown Nylon 66 when I was a kid & sold it as a young adult. STOOPID, STOOPID, STOOPID. Must've shot at least 10,000 rounds through that thing & never cleaned it. I can't ever remember it malfunctioning. I still say those were the best .22 rifles ever built. Perfect first gun, as well, due to its light weight & ability to take punishment.

That was my first gun and I traded it at a gun show for my Winchester 94 30-30. I think I traded up. I fired a LOT of rounds through that .22.
